An event jointly organised by South Oxfordshire Sustainability (SOS) and SODC will be held on Thursday 29th January 7-9 pm at Wallingford Town Hall.
Gordon Hunt from OCC will give an overview of organisational and individual responsibilities
and then The Hanney and Chalgrove Flood Groups will describe how their group came about and how they developed their village flood plans.

URGENT UPDATE FROM SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL
There has been a major fire at the South Oxfordshire and Vale of White
Horse District councils building in Crowmarsh Gifford.
Most services will be affected. The councils are putting their business
continuity plan into place to make sure the effect on the most important
front line services is kept to a minimum.

A34 Chilton to Milton Drainage Maintenance Scheme
The Highways Agency will be carrying out essential maintenance works to the drainage system along the A34 between the A4130 Milton Interchange and A4185 Chilton Junction. This scheme aims to reduce the risk of future flooding and supports Oxfordshire County Councils proposed improvement schemes at Chilton and Milton.
Work is scheduled to start in early-December 2014 and is expected to be completed by the end of May 2015*.
